Who We Are

Shoulder a Child Imitative is a Community Based Organization that aims to empower, enlighten, and promote education.

It was established in 2017 and it is operating within Nairobi.
It also mentors the youth on matters of education and health, and champions for menstrual health and safety among girls in primary and secondary schools.

Shoulder a Child Imitative trains youth and women on entrepreneurship skills as well creating awareness on matters of good governance in order for them to make better and informed decisions.

Impact Stories

A Non-Governmental Organization has protected 24 water springs in Lurambi Constituency, Kakamega County in a move aimed at stemming the spread of water-borne diseases and cases of rape of women.

The organization, Shoulder-A-Child-Initiative, said that many women and girls had been raped and defiled while in search of water.

They said the cases occurred mostly very early in the morning or late in the evening.
